Jersey the largest of the Channel islands, has 48 miles of unspoilt coastline and stunning sandy beaches. St Helier, situated on the south coast is Jersey's capital. With plenty of bars, shops, restaurants and nightclubs, a vibrant place that couples and friends will love. Take a stroll along St Helier's sea front and try some local seafood in Albert Harbour. Further west along the coast lays St Brelades Bay; this sleepy seaside town is a very popular tourist area, for both families and couples. Set in a stunning location, with great views of the sea and its soft sandy stretch of beachkeeps people coming back year after year. Also home to the Jersey Lavender Farm, an interesting day out; see the process of how lavender becomes oil. Jersey has a good choice of accommodation, with hotels to suit every budget in all the busy tourist areas. However camping is a great way to appreciate the countryside and these are dotted all over the island.
