In Picton you can enjoy a meal beside the historic port, or walk some of many spectacular trails which line the Queen Charlotte Sound. Farther up the Wairau Valley you'll find the forest clad foothills of the Richmond and St Arnaud ranges, perfect for day or overnight walking tours.
