St Lucia Holidays Guide
The Caribbean
Saint Lucia is a little slice of paradiselocated where the Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. A small (620 km2) island country, Saint Lucia is part of the Lesser Antilles, sitting northwest of Barbados and south of Martinique. Avolcanic island, it is more mountainous than most other islandsin the Caribbean; the highest point is Mount Gimie, 950 metres above sea levelthat, with two other famous mountains, the Pitons, form the island's most famous landmark. They are all found on the western side of the island. This tropical island is a favorite honeymoon spot, and offers weary travelers relaxing beaches, mountains to hike, exotic plants, animals, and birds to watch and capture on film or canvas, and the Qualibou volcano, one of the few drive-in volcanoes in the world, with its boiling, rejuvenating sulfur springs. This is home of a natural phenomenon called the Qualibu Caldera, which acts as a safety valve, releasing subterranean pressure andstabilising the area.Take the time to soak in the mineral-rich mud below the Sulfur Springs, mud which legend says makes you look and feel years younger.

St Lucia Accommodation Guide
Santa Lucia is the home of some of the most luxurious (and pricy) resort hotels in the Caribbean, along with boutique hotels, villas, intimate inns, and all-inclusives. Rodney Bay Village, in northwest St Lucia, hasmany restaurants, beautiful resorts, exciting activities, and a historically notorious marina (once treasured by pirates in the 1700s and 1800s), it is where you will find the most tourist activity. Accommodations like Jade Mountain and AnseChastanet, The Landings, and the Royal St. Lucian define luxury. There are lower priced places to stay, but luxury is part of the Saint Lucia experience.
